Hey darling,
When you’re the strong one, it’s easy for others to overlook how you’re feeling. They assume you’re okay, and before long, you might start to believe that you should be.
So, here’s what I want to remind you of today:
You don’t have to wake up feeling strong every single day. You don’t need to justify your need for rest or explain why you require it. You have the right to simply take it for yourself. Remember, you’re a human being navigating through human experiences.
I’d like you to take a moment with me. While you’re reading or listening to this, let’s pause. Yes, right nowstop everything for just a bit. Let your shoulders drop, as if you’re setting down two heavy bags you no longer need to carry.
Relax your tongue away from the roof of your mouth. Take a deep breath in through your nose, as if you’re inhaling the scent of something you truly love. Do it slowly and intentionally. Then, exhale as if you’re letting go of the stress from the entire week.
That’s all. No complicated healing exercises, just a brief moment of relief from the weight you carry.
This is your nervous system care and somatic repair. It might not look like traditional strength, but taking a moment to stop and breathe is powerful.
So, if you needed a sign that it’s okay to let go, consider this it. Begin with this simple act of self-love. You’re allowed to rest, and you’re allowed to stop carrying everything on your own.
Sending you love and light as you take this time for yourself. Peace.
Vee
