How to Rest When You’re Always the Strong One

Learning to Rest When You’re Always the Strong One

Hey darling,

I’ve been thinking a lot about what it’s like to be the person everyone leans on, the one who listens, helps, and always finds the right words, even when your own heart feels tired.

I carried people’s stories, their pain, their worries. I was proud to be that safe space. But I didn’t notice how heavy it had become.

These days, I’ve learned to care deeply without carrying it all.
That I can love people without losing myself.
That saying no isn’t rejection, it’s my protection.

If this speaks to something inside you, I wrote more about it on the blog: how I’m learning to rest without guilt and what that looks like in real life.

Take a few deep breaths with me and meet me on the blog, where I share the full reflection and a few gentle journaling questions to help you release the weight you’ve been carrying.
